Challanges to get started...

After rescheduling the business trip multiple times due to the COVID-19 pandemic, October 2021 the Master study course Digital Business Management 2019 were able to conduct its business trip - target destination DUBLIN.

Since Ireland launched a national digital strategy in 2013, Ireland's prognoses for a digital economy were very promising. Promoting more digital engagement among the population and a training offensive, establishing an e-government strategy as well as a national plan for broadband internet were part of the national strategy launched.

Since then Ireland has evolved largely. A lot of multinational Information and communication (ICT) providers such as Google, Microsoft and more settled in Dublin.

The students and their professor Dr. Michael Herzog were excited how the digitization in Dublin is felt. Interested about the outcome ? Watch the movie and get an insight what they have experienced.

.. but in the end it paid off
